Sunita Lakhani, DPM

Sunita Lakhani, DPM is a board-credentialed podiatric surgeon known for her expertise in advanced foot and ankle care. Dr. Lakhani is the founder of Arch Foot & Ankle and collaborates with each of our doctors to create individualized treatment plans for effective pain relief and healing for our patients.

Dr. Lakhani was raised in Sugar Land, Texas. She received her bachelor’s degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, and following her undergraduate studies, she went on to obtain her four year doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining her doctorate, Dr. Lakhani completed her surgical residency with the St. Joseph Medical Center Residency Program in Houston. With specialized training in areas such as limb salvage, sports medicine, bunion repair, and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Lakhani provides comprehensive care for a full range of foot and ankle conditions. She also contributes to the future of podiatric medicine as an attending physician for the West Houston Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency Program.
